   Sorta... the SUBST command creates a "virtual drive" that shows up
in file requesters just like A:, C:, etc.
   Used like this:

       subst z: c:\work\company\objects

   Not really like the Amiga assign, but still useful.
   (Don't know how LW would react to it... i.e.: would LW save the
object path with the virtual drive name or would it expand the path?
Haven't tried it.)
